It’s been a whole week since I started this blog! The fact that I posted every day is big for me.
So, this week Booking Through Thursday asks:
What’s the latest you’ve ever stayed up reading a book? Is staying up late reading a usual thing for you?
I have pulled an all-nighter to read before, it was in the summer when I didn’t have a job or school or anything to go to so it was okay to sleep most of the next day away. Even now though, I start reading at around midnight and stay up until 2 or 3am. Staying up that late is totally normal for me now (granted, it is the summer, I have no job, and all of my classes right now are at night so I can sleep until noon). It depends on the day and now that the summer is quickly coming to an end, I am trying to get to bed earlier in anticipation of my fall semester classes, but right now it doesn’t seem to bother me too much to stay up that late and function, for the most part, the next day.
How late do you stay up reading?
*I'm not sure if I'll keep BTT on this blog, maybe I'll make it one a month, but I don't know what else to post on Thursdays right now so it'll have to do for now.
Good answer! I have trouble staying awake though... Feel free to check out my full BTT here.

Being retired if I want to I can stay up late to read, but most of the time I try to get to bed by 11 o'clock.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit today.
Good for you! I just can't stay up late. Reading puts me right to sleep.
ReplyDeleteOh to be young again...I remember those days. Now I would rather be up by 6am or the day feels like it is wasted. Thank you for stopping by my place.
ReplyDeleteI used to be able to stay up late and read, but not anymore. I tend to fall asleep when I'm reading or not remember what I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for stopping by!
ReplyDelete@Debbie - That's why I have to read at night, it's the only thing that puts me to sleep, though it usually takes about an hour of reading
@CMash - I need to get into the habit of going to bed early & getting up early, but I function better at night even with a full night's rest so I don't know if I can switch like that.
@Yvonne - I start not remembering what I read too, that's when I know it's time to turn off the lights =)
