Review: The Goddess Hunt by Aimee Carter

Today I am reviewing Aimee Carter’s first e-novella in the Goddess Test series: The Goddess Hunt.

Title: Goddess Interrupted

Author: Aimee Carter

Release Date: March 27, 2012

Series: Goddess Test #1.5

Pages: 71

ISBN: 9781426834158

Description:
A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld...until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades' wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt them. The last person they trust is Kate, the new Queen of the Underworld. Nevertheless, she is determined to help their cause. But when it comes to dealing with immortals, Kate still has a lot to learn...

My thoughts:
I read this series a little out of order; I read Goddess Interrupted before this one. I was curious about how Kate spent her summer with James away from Henry in Greece, because frankly, of course Kate could find trouble while she's supposed to be away from the underworld, and going to Greece of all places was bound to have consequences.  This short story is a great companion to the series.  I liked that it brought in more of the Greek gods and myths. Kate wasn't as naive in this book as I felt she was in book one, she is developing nicely as a character throughout the series.

This book is a great spacer for those who have not read Goddess Interrupted (book two in the Goddess Test series) yet.  If you've already read books one and two, this is still an awesome short to bridge the gaps left out in Goddess Interrupted.  I was left wanting more, but I have been in love with this series since book one so that was no surprise for me.

The Goddess Hunt is an eNovella only, available wherever you can purchase eBooks.  Aimee Carter also has another eNovella The Goddess Legacy releasing on July 31, 2012, so be sure to look for that as well!

I love comments! They make me super happy, I read all of them and try to respond to most of them!

This is now an award free blog, I'm super flattered to be chosen for awards, but I can't find time to complete the requirements to pass them on. Thanks!
